A blast from My details are: Philip Nicholas Fiv past, Tuthill giant 80mm finderscope

This finderscope dates back to the 80's to 90's and was primarily designed for C8's though is supposed to fit any telescope according to the ads of the day . weighs about 900 grams and is an 80mm F4 achromatic finderscope. It takes standard 1.25" eyepieces and gives nice widefield views. The lens is in excellent condition , diagonal is original but is missing reticule eyepiece, though this can be made from a standard 1.25" eyepiece quite easily. This is a working piece of amateur astronomy history made by peter tuthill and would suit a c8 restoration or one of todays scopes.
Asking $100 ono postage extra
