Eric B and I have been discussing the possibility of catching up with other amateur astronomers from the Southern Adelaide area. Could even call it the Southern Adelaide Astronomers Club

I live in the Seaford Rise area, whilst Eric lives in Flagstaff Hill. As there are not many astronomy events or clubs in the area (that we know of and compared to the North of Adelaide) we thought it would be a good idea to put out the word to those from the South or further a far to meet up.
I am
NOT looking to start up anything too formal (i.e. no club with fee's or positions etc) just a simple get together of like minded people, maybe fortnightly or monthly for a chat/drink in a local or an observation session etc.
