IISAC pics

A couple of photos taken last weekend at IISAC.
Both were taken through a Pentax K-5 DSLR with a 50-135mm DA* f2.8 zoom (at 135mm).

As you can imagine the Orion Nebula picture is a pretty severe crop of the original frame. It is a DSS stack of 11 x 25 second subs at ISO 2200.

The Eta Carina is a single 25 second frame at ISO 2200. Although I seem to have largely fluked it first time round with the Orion picture, all my other DSS stacks seem to remove nearly all of the colour. I've got a lot to learn about processing. Comments and advice most welcome.
