Yes would be interesting, I got the series 7 which I hoped would be made in Japan but are marked China, maybe the flagship EDG range are Japanese made, you would hope so at their price point.

It was a tough choice but got tempted with the extra reach of the 10x, I already own one of Nikon's fieldscopes so probably should of gone with the 8x42 but still very happy. Also handy with my other interests of archery, target shooting and weird sport of
