NYC and SF are the two most expensive cities in the US. We tried shopping around but in the end just bowed to inevitable.
Lots to do in SF. Muir Woods is the nearest redwood reserve and is stunning. Lunch by the boat harbor in Suasalito looking back at the city is very nice, pricey though! Sausalito is the most expensive part of SF!
