The Orion Nebula

I took my TEC110 fluorite for a spin recently and did some imaging with it. Its a lovely little scope with superb optics. The KAF8300 chip is a good match for the fast optics. I got this scope as I wanted richer colours than I was getting from the standard FSQ106ED. The switch from fluorite to ED glass in the FSQ came at the cost of some subtle colour saturation in my opinion.

I took this one about 6 weeks ago. I did 3 nights worth but only 1 nights imaging made the cut. More exposure time would have been nicer as always.

TEC110 Fluorite oiled triplet. FLI ML8300, PME mount.

90 minutes 390 seconds for the core.
