I am having immense problems with registax. I have downloaded step by step instructions from people involved with developing the programme, but am getting nowhere. I take 30secs. of video with my 1100D, convert it to AVI with Zoom Browser EX, pop it into registax. I follow the instructions to the letter, but the image remains quite fuzzy, with no detail at all. When I finally click "use linked wavelets", which is supposed to clean up the image more, the screen goes to millions of dots of many colours, and stays like that. What the hell am I doing wrong? HELP.
I've done 55yrs. of film imaging; this digital stuff is driving me mad.
