Thought I should chime back in as my position has possibly changed. After much tweaking in pempro and phd I have the mount guiding very well. If you look at the graph over 500 you can still see a harmonic in the Ra drive that doesn't seem to want guide out, but at my local seeing and focal length it doesn't seem to have a negative effect.
A bit happier now.
