Yes I have experienced it without a dew shield or heater. I wondered why the image was starting to be unable to focus, when I looked at the collector there was water running off it
by the time I had mopped it up more was forming at the top. Hadn't had the problem with the ED80, probably because it has a dew shield fitted.
