I,m determined to have a go at this target whilst out at Chinchilla tomorrow night..weather pending...not looking promising....I am also determined to find this target without GOTO...my plan is to draw a line from Betelgeuse to Procyon then draw another across from Sirius to Alhena this will make a chrosshair to work off....then nudge the scope up a little and to the left...Shazam it will appear....lol....sounds good in theory....maybe I will have to push the GOTO button.
Any other tips on finding this Scott....I'm serious about not using GOTO.
