Lewis, I don't know if you qualify age wise or if they have teams up on the Sunshine Coast but Over 35's/Veterans/Golden Oldies is a fantastic way to keep playing! I played up until my cataract operations stopped me standing out on the wing waiting, waiting, waiting....
I must admit that stepping around a big Samoan/Kiwi/Fijian on the way to the try-line was EXHILIRATING!!! Here's a link to one of the two teams (there's another story there...) I played for -
