Your suggestions are very clear and solved a lot of my doubts.
At present I have a Celestron OMNI 2x Barlow. Do you think it is acceptable, at least for the beginning?
About the low cost Barlow that I supposed to buy, my idea was to remove the lens and to use it as an extension tube. I have seen on several vendors sites that a very low quality Barlow costs less than an extension tube. Could be their body is in plastic..........
