I used Maxim LE to combine the subs. Initially I combined using RGB only with SII:Ha:OIII -> R:G:B. Due to the good Ha subs, the green was overwhelming, so I combined using LRGB with Ha:SII:Ha:OIII -> L:R:G:B. I trial & error alot with each of the channel weighting, eventually settled with R:G:B to 1.5:0.8:3.0
After that I did a lot of processing in PS to reduce star size, played around with level/curves/brightness/contrast, colour/channel balance, minimum filter, dust & speckle, Gaussian blur etc.. until I'm happy with the result.
