I'm surprised anyone cares about the looks of the EQ8 compared to the G11. The EQ8 is clearly utilitarian but damn, look at those 8" worm wheels! As long as they haven't skipped on the bearings then it should be an amazingly capable mounting - dual encoders on each axis too!
