I had a 10" Dob that came out of a tip in NSW. Had a great mirror (One of Satchmo's creations from the 1980's), recoated by Astro Optical a couple of years before. Tried to give it away to the local schools as it wasn't getting much use. Never even got a "No Thanks" reply to any of my emails.
Eventually advertised it on Facebook and got $200 for it.
