Really enjoying the wider field and quicker setup with the ED80. I had previously formed a view it was not going to be any good for imaging at home although I think that was more about noise from my DSLR. I'm finding it works really well with the QSI.

Actually, I think the reflections add some uniqueness to often seen field. I can almost hear some irreverant Monty Python style humming as the holy light bathes the horse...

Finding the QSI quite easy to use - not as big a learning curve as I had expected. I'm using SGP to drive it and now have auto focus and plate solving working - that sure has helped. Greg says he's a keen astrophotographer but needs to get back into it.
