That is an interesting point.
You can set the message display to the manner displayed as said.
If you are logged in the default order is last message first which is probably the best if you are "chatting"
However if you don't log in the default display is first message at the top.
The major problem with the last message being the first displayed is that it becomes easy to get off the subject too easy. There are many treads in this forum that have over 50 posts and if you go to the original post you often find that the current posts have nothing to do with the 1st post.
