Hi Gav,
I bought an Orion deluxe off axis guider , it took a bit of fiddling to set it up as the pin from the tapered screw to the pick off prism was bent . Had to replace it with a piece of rod from a pop rivet. I made an indentation to the top with a file to locate the tapered screw as it moved forward. I moved the telescope very slightly to find a star. I am using an ASI130MM camera to guide at a 1second loop with Phd. With the moon close by the field of view was very bright so I was suprised Phd was able to guide so well for so long.
