Just to help out.
"Last night after I decided to photograph the galaxy M42 (Sombrero) a go. Light pollution is very strong from my east and north, which does not favor the development of the image. I managed this effort miserable with my misalignment"
Still it is satisfying to get a decent image David and u will improve once the alignment is working. Well done.
