Comet PanSTARRS

To ISS'ers: This is David Williams again. By the way, we got the roll-off-roof observatory built last year.

And it was done with 6" thick of concrete for a floor and only a tripod plus
wedge. Well I'm learning that the mount plus even footing you place it all
on is very important if not the most important part of your scope set-up.

PS: by the way I'm friends with Terry Hancock a native Australian and lives
here in Michigan. And even got to meet with him at our local astro club.

So that was neat and he recommends a concrete pier too and at least a Milburn wedge. So we'll try to retro-fit that next. Got to get someone with a concrete saw, and retrofit the whole thing in the center. Any advice it appreciated.

But about the Comet. I almost thought I wouldn't get to see it. And didn't with my own eyes. But with a time-exposure with my Canon Rebel T2i it came through. Thank you everyone! Astrophotography is such a wonderful field!
