Keyhole Area

Good night last night. I was chasing ISON which I think I missed again... Will have to dig harder. Maybe it's in the moon glow washed out subs. I used a stack of Blue and Green filter to narrow the range around the 500nm band which is where the comets are most prominent. After I was done with ISON I turned to ETA which is right up ahead and did 5min subs. Because of the green/blue combination of filters mostly the keyhole area stuck out and it made for a pretty picture despite the moon and light pollution.

There's a big one here if you want to have a peek around. That's a 1:1 crop probably 70% of the whole area as the rest is fairly uninteresting. Little camera tilt showing in the stars but nothing dramatic. That was done with a 90mm APO.

I really liked Peter M.'s ETA framing so I tried to do something similar.

Enjoy the view and thanks for looking.
