Many years ago there was a small group of MAS(Murdoch Astronomical Society) members and, I think, some ASWA members that met weekly for an ATM(Amateur Telescope Making) workshop at the MAS observatory site at Murdoch University.
I believe MAS is now associated with ASWA so perhaps
contact ASWA to find out about any ATM workshops?
