Antares A and B with DSLR and Dobsonian

Last night's seeing in Brisbane was quite good, and usually I just do the planets but I thought I'd give Antares a go using a Canon EOS 600D on video crop mode at prime focus of a 12" SkyWatcher Goto Dobsonian manually tracked.

I must admit that I was looking for a green star but could only see this slight blue protusion in the video, but unfortunately right along the atmospheric chromatic dispersion axis where the colour blue spreads to. RGB correction removed all doubt for me and I'm happy it's a blue star

This is from about 1000 frames stacked in Registax and unsharp mask.

Thanks for looking.
