I was kinda using that approach initially with an eye piece, and it worked well without the barlow, but i think I need to find an eyepiece with the same field of view and then if possible set a par focal ring on either it or the camera.
But when it came to the barlow configure it just seemed to disappear altogether. A bit of daylight experimenting is called for I think.
But I now have an EQ6pro coming so the image scale with the C8 scope should be a lot better. The old EQ5 just wobbled a bit much with the C8.
