Jumping Jabiru

Heading home for lunch I saw a pair of Jabirus in the swamp raced back to grab my truck with the 60D and 400mmL lense.Put it on the tripod camera on automatic and snapped away. This is a quick collage of jpeg crops I set for the raws as well so may have some better shots down the track some are sharper than others. I quickly put this together in Picasa. This is the first time I have observed two feeding usually here its just a lone bird.It has an eel tailed catfish in one of the shots and as I was leaving caught a small mullet. Its these sought of things that just make the day that much better.Note the female has the yellow eye.
Cheers Derek
