LOL no, I wasn't born 'till '75
But I know the 'pinny hall', have seen photo's of it.
I do remember the fair behind the yacht club, it used to be great. It was kinda like a mini sideshow-alley at the Royal Show.
There also used to be a place with a heap of trampolines next to the yacht club. Great times as a kid. Sad that it's all gone now.
During the 80's I used to haunt 'Rolands' (aka 'Seaspray Takeaway') on Bent street (across the road from Banyandah Deli) which usually had about 3 or 4 pinnie's. They were rotated with new machines(or old) quite a lot, so there was always something new to master.
