I should also add some technical details ....
Scope: Megrez 90
Mount: Losmandy GM-8 (hadn't been used for a year!)
Camera: Canon 7D
Shots are a combination of full frame RAW individual exposures and video using BackyardEOS's planetary mode.
I used my old Tamron 2x doubler between 7D and Megrez 90 to up the magnification. It's probably the 2x which added some chromatic adoration to the mix.
Considering the short focal length I'm really happy with the detail I got on Jupiter.
