Awe that is a shame, anyone would think that these two cities are pretty much where Australia is located and the rest of us are just mining camps.
Personally I would rather have had clear skies last night for the occultation than worry about a comet.
You could always move from the east coast to the rest of Australia (the largest bit). You might have to live a little backwardly though and stop that incessant moaning about how the weather is on any one day.
