On recent visits to the Roma Street Parklands we didn’t have much success with insects/macro photography, but instead, came away with an assortment of Eastern Water Dragon shots. It was a nice break from watching the perpetually cloudy night skies….
I suspect the proliferation of EWDs had something to do with the scarcity of insects!
To maintain some connection with astronomy, I did manage to capture the Moon in the background whilst a Blue Faced Honeyeater was looking for nectar in the foreground tree.
