Yep, trapping more energy in Earth's atmosphere can do lots of crazy things... More extremes of heat, more evaporation, more drying, and a warmer atmosphere holds more water vapour, so you have a more active hydrological cycle (more evaporation, more precipitation). And changing the colour of white parts of the planet can alter weather patterns. Lots of crazy things from simple physics.

But extra meteors ... definitely not buying that!!
