Stacy - I have spent the last three months learning how effective things like unsharp masks, Richardson-Lucy deconvolution, wavelet filters and high pass filters can be in turning what looks like fuzzy cloud bands into sharp detail. I am still a way noob but I urge you persevere - it floors me how much this stuff makes a difference now.

Simon - I' really enjoying the planetary stuff that I can get with the 60Da. The crop mode is great. I got the camera for entry-level deep space imaging, but I'm also having fun with the moon and jupiter. The 2x Barlow has made all the difference as is boosts the real size of the Jupiter image from 100+ to 200+ pixels. I'm saving up for a 4x Televue Powermate :-)
