I assumed that HA didn't allow for Day Light savings , my mistake , thanks very much for the info.
Now we just need a clear morning.

Lake Bathurst will be a several minutes of arc off this plot but still well within the field of a wide angle low power eyepiece.

Any other Canberra based observers are welcome to download the charts. Further away, the positions will be too far off, better to do your own.

Skippy sky is indicating cloud cover for most of the ACT and lake Bathurst/George but clear after midnight out NW of the ACT border. If the weather follows this pattern and any Canberra based IIS observers are interested in heading out that way in convoy to try to observe this thing, please PM me and we'll tee up some arrangements. Obviously we'll need to make a fresh star chart & ephemeris!
