Correct, no bias or dark frames used . Will be using an St8300M with filterwheel with same scope setup very shortly to image this nebula.

It looks like all Canons have similar “noise” issue that shows on bias frames as “verticalish” pattern, so –
is my guess correct that the original picture was rotated by -30deg?
