Well I'm pretty much a newbie right now as you know Jen but it does need some modding as JJJ suggests.
In my case I'm using a DMK21AU04 Imaging Source camera. I couldn't get to focus either & worked out I needed to get the camera chip closer to the telescope. I had to cut off at least 7mm off the end of the 1.25" camera adapter, as well as grind off a shoulder that was stopping the adapter from going all the way in to the scope. You'll need to employ the same method for the webcam no doubt. Can't help with the DSLR (without the barlow) but I do read that much the same needs to be done somehow: Get the camera closer to the scope to reach focus. Regarding the use of the Barlow - No detail because it's not at focus, or is it just overexposed do you think? Got any pics?
