If you want
indepth then may i suggest the Cambridge Astrophysics line.
Theres ~50 books in the series (no, don't buy them all! they are expensive) and all are really well presented and go into great depth (as you'd expect of an astrophysics book).
Currently reading Pulsars, and apart from the mathematics, its extremely interesting and well worth the $120 i payed.

Available in AU as well but most stores want stupid amounts of money for it. Amazon was by far the cheapest when i bought it.
