I use a Canon 5D MkII. It's a cropped shot, and I wanted it to the right third so as to show how small M1 really is by comparing to the stars left third upper.
Thanks on the comments. I did a fair bit of reading to see how to extract as much data as possible out of images.
It's no Martin Pugh, but it's only 2 hrs through a 4 inch refractor and a DSLR running with a 31° CMOS from a severe light polluted driveway
