Hi Andrew,
Not sure how to do a mosiac with comet Lemmon. The second image with the comet tail would'nt register the same as the comet head. That is if you want the stars and comet to be sharp in DSS.

Any idea's??

Hi Anthony,

Reported last week at mag 6, I think it's a little brighter than that now. I'll try for a visual estimate tonite.

There's a couple of nice conjunctions coming up with comet Lemmon.

Feb 13-14-15 it will be 5 degrees from the centre of the SMC.
On March 10-11 it will be 1.4 degrrees from NGC55, but only 12 degrees above the western horizon.

So get your camera's ready.
