The story in the southern suburbs of Brisbane...
Well it's finally stopped raining and the wind has died down. The rain I can deal with but the wind is something else!
I am amazed that two trees in particular are still standing. The gusts this morning are something that I will never forget - I guess this is what I get for living on a ridge!
Total rainfall for my backyard came to 286mm and that does not take into account the near horizontal rain.
