That's awful news David,hope family is safe,and your house gets no further damage.Its really getting quite wet around the place at present.Last weather news I saw last night said the rain will head to NSW,and even Southern NSW,where they need it.
Finally got out to observatory,only some damp carpet near the door,although its made me think-all this gear that gets used 4 or 5 times a year,and all the insurance etc,might seriously sell the lot and just get some macro gear-at least it might get used,and easier to house.
