I have it fully worked out. The reason we are experiencing this storm is:
Some one from IIS has won lotto and has bought up big. Not just for themselves but for all their mates as well. So much astro toys is what its about.
jjj's purchase is insufficient to cause this much rain and wind. So jjj can be forgiven. Same with the scope that has not arrived. LewisM.
Whoever won the lotto will be found out soon enough. They will get their just deserts.
Seriously, I wish everyone an uneventful storm. Ride it out safely.
