As for Jaycar, there were quite a few small reasons for my departure, the introduction of Sunday trading was the single largest contributing factor, the stingy pay packet was another. Otherwise I really did enjoy the position, probably one of the most enjoyable job's I've ever had. Meeting interesting people all day and being able to help them find a solution to a problem was quite rewarding. Oh well, onwards and upwards.
I'm now doing engineering work, mostly instrumentation in explosive atmospheres for a Norwegian company in the Oil & Gas industry, reasonably interesting and decent money, but not something I want to be doing for the rest of my life.
