Trying something new

Hi guys, Last night I wanted to do some imaging. The moon was pretty bright and I decided that deep sky imaging which is my primary interest would be less successful because of the moon. This gave me an idea, I could do some planetary imaging.

Now I dont have a webcam, or planetary video camera, but I wondered if my Star shoot guide cam would allow me to take videos. I have not seen anyone on this forum take any planet images with one. It turns out that with some third party software you can run the camera as a video cam. The image I took was through an old celestron 2X barlow and seeing was horrible (the moon looked like it was under water) but I thought I would post it just incase anyone else wanted to do some planetary imaging and didn't think they had the equipment.
