I found EVERY single scrap of data I have on M42 - from even 2 different telescopes - a SW ED100 and Vixen FL102S - (fitting them was no easy task!!!) and combined them. Total time I think came to about 2.5 hrs (laugh, go on
), but all this data was this summer, in SE QLD which has had ATROCIOUS seeing and weather.
Still a little noisy, core is blown out and it all needs some work, but seeing things at least. Not much fiddle with colours, contrast etc either, just stretched to an acceptable level (JUST).
Hopefully tonight can add some more - if my mount cooperates.
