sharpcap questions
I am currently running a ASI130MM camera under sharpcap. I can get both planetary images and deep sky( well long exposures ) by playing with the controls/settings. However i would like to understand how to operate this software ! Rather than fumble with the settings.I have seen some tutorials on the net but they are directed towards toucams and modified toucams. Can anyone help me with any of the following to start with?
1.The first problem is reconciling the 'video capture filter and video capture Pin' under options menu with the "video capture panel" on the left of the screen.Both seem to have similar settings, ie exposure, resolution etc. Which works , which do i use? Should any settings have the automatic boxes checked?
2. What is frame divisor and what setting should it have?
3. How do you use ROI ( i dimly remember the meade envisage software used ROI)
