Thank you Niko, yes the frames are fully calibrated with darks/flats/bias. I had an extra look but can't find any hot pixels, where did you see it?

Thanks Steve, I've become quite fond of open clusters lately and they make great targets for moonlit nights since they are so bright.

Thanks very much Alistair. I believe there could be a bit of reflection nebulosity in there, it is quite common in these open clusters when the images are deep enough. I couldn't find any literature on it though.
