Thanks Paddy. I used your tour at ASVs dark site on Sunday night. I was able to follow your instructions and observed most of your objects. I struggled with some of the fainter ones in only a 12" scope. The only issue I had was knowing which focal length EP to use in any given area. I generally used the Ba'ader click zoom and when you suggested widest field I used my GSO 30mm 68 or my GSO 42mm 68. They gave me rewarding views. My 2" DGM Neb filter assisted with some of the fainter nebulosity. Thanks again for posting.
