Rosette hubble.
Paul invited me to his observatory at Clayton on Saturday night. I was torn about what to image, on one side I wanted to take advantage of the dark skies to image LRGB. But on the other side I didn't want to change the filters after the moon came up at 1 am.
I eventually decided on taking narrowband all night on an object that is obscured from my house, the Rosette nebula. This is one hour of s2 and o3 with 140 minutes of ha used as luminance. Narrowband imaging is proving to be a challenging beast without an observatory as each object needs so many subframes.
At any rate, its a start.
