I thought i would give M42 a go last night, i am quite pleased with the results, im still learning how to use the DSLR, I must have been imaging m42 for almost 2 hours, changing settings, adjusting focus, drinking copious amounts of coffee. I really wanted to stay up for saturn, but as 3am drew near my body went into hibernation mode
ISO6400 - 1 minute unguided (im still saving for my guide scope)
I have played with the image in paintshop, adjusting brightnesss and contrast, unsharpen mask, and RGB, another thing im still learning.
