I think both cameras are similar. I processed my eta car. image with IRIS, I did the one from the 300D with Photoshop CS as its raw extraction generates less noise, with the 350D Photoshop CS doesnt support it but CS2 does but CS2 generates more noise when extracting the raw images, so I use IRIS instead, hence the slightly different colours as IRIS doesnt do the auto white balance thing..
Im wondering if CG4 being a dark nebula also puts out IR light as it might be warmed by surrounding stars, as I had no filter al all on it.
Ive ordered a Baader IR/UV cut filter from Andrews Communications, they should get more in next week.
