Unquarantine the gamepad file it zapped, or reinstall. A LOT of antivirus programs do false-positives and call them trojans, whereas it is just likely a port controller (with antivirus thinking it's a virus trying to send OUT data).
It has come to the point now where AV throws out so many false-positives and DELIBERATELY - various reasons why. They even trigger sometimes to known safe developers that write to the registry (and DEFINITELY false pos to many legit keygens
